About the role

This nine-week summer internship offers Atlanta-based students hands-on experience across Global Travel, Meetings & Events, and Corporate Services strategy. Interns will support events, travel reporting, technology initiatives, data analysis, and operational improvements while receiving mentorship, development programming, and cross-functional exposure at a global investment firm.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a technology-focused initiative improving Corporate Services experiences, efficiency, and business outcomes.
  • Produce monthly North American events volume and spend reports, budget analyses, and executive reporting materials.
  • Plan and execute employee events, including Cvent registration, catering workflows, venue sourcing, and on-site guest support.
  • Maintain local vendor lists, assist with presentations, and support event technology and client experience initiatives.
  • Assist with travel reporting, data analysis, traveler communications, policy initiatives, and program performance reviews.
  • Partner with stakeholders and suppliers to research practices, improve operations, and develop leadership recommendations.

Program and Development

  • The nine-week Summer Internship Program begins in June 2027.
  • Participate in orientation, intern networking events, development workshops, volunteer activities, and virtual Lunch and Learns.
  • Receive hands-on experience, one-on-one mentorship, leadership access, and exposure to cross-functional Corporate Services projects.
  • Gain experience in event planning, travel processes, compliance, process improvement, and operational effectiveness.
  • Successful interns may be eligible for a full-time Early Career Program offer after graduation.

Working Arrangement

  • The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and requires work in an Invesco office where the program is available.
  • Invesco’s current workplace model expects employees to work in an office at least four full days weekly.
  • Relocation and housing are not included if an offer is extended.
