Early Career Intern - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

About the role

This nine-week summer internship supports Invesco’s Financial Planning and Analysis team through competitor research, financial reviews, market trend reporting, and cross-functional projects. Interns will analyze business performance, prepare presentations, connect with finance leaders, receive mentorship, and potentially earn a full-time Early Career Program offer after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Create one-page PowerPoint summaries of competitors’ quarterly earnings releases, earnings calls, and strategies.
• Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly analytics covering Net Sales, assets under management, and product performance.
• Produce index provider analytics on asset levels, revenues, and expenses.
• Generate weekly and monthly analyses of global financial market performance and trends.
• Reconcile business invoices and research industry fee reductions, including their potential impact on assets under management.
• Partner cross-functionally to provide insights on ETFs, Indexed Strategies, and SMAs.

Program Experience

• Participate in orientation, intern networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities.
• Work on cross-functional initiatives involving competitive analysis, reporting, compliance, process improvement, and financial performance.
• Connect with finance leaders and gain insight into strategic decision-making across the business.
• Receive dedicated mentorship and collaborate with fellow interns throughout the program.
• Strong performance may lead to a full-time offer through Invesco’s Early Career Program.
