About the role
Join Invesco's 9-week Summer Internship in Investment Grade Credit Research starting June 2027 in Atlanta. Gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and networking in a global investment firm. Eligible for full-time offers post-internship.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support fundamental credit research within US investment grade corporate bond sectors.
- Build and maintain financial models and credit monitoring tools.
- Research investment opportunities and present findings to the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
- Attend team meetings and complete projects on time.
- Prepare presentations and materials for stakeholders.
Learning and Development
- Receive one-on-one mentorship from experienced professionals.
- Participate in orientation, networking events, and development workshops.
- Engage in volunteer activities and team meetings to understand investment processes.
- Seek feedback to support learning and growth.
- Develop analytical skills in business, industry, and credit risk evaluation.
- Experience real impact working on meaningful projects.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled bachelor’s student, rising Junior, graduating summer 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Interest in financial markets and investments.
- Familiarity with Excel and financial statement analysis.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. permanently; no sponsorship provided.
- Must be able to work in Atlanta, GA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Creative problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- Prior internship in investment management preferred but not required.
- Experience gathering and interpreting market data.
