About the role

Join Invesco's 9-week High Yield Credit Research Summer Internship in Atlanta starting June 2027. Gain hands-on investment experience, mentorship, and networking opportunities in a global investment firm. Eligible for full-time offers post-internship.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Conduct fundamental credit research in US high yield corporate bond market sectors.
  • Build and maintain financial models and credit monitoring tools.
  • Research investment opportunities and present findings to the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
  • Attend team meetings and complete projects on time.
  • Prepare presentations and materials for stakeholders.

Learning and Development

  • Receive one-on-one mentorship from experienced professionals.
  • Participate in orientation, networking events, and development workshops.
  • Engage in volunteer activities and team meetings to understand investment processes.
  • Seek feedback to support learning and professional growth.

Candidate Requirements

  • Currently a rising junior in a bachelor's program, graduating by summer 2028.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Interest in financial markets and investments.
  • Familiarity with Excel and financial statement analysis.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to work in Atlanta, GA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in creative problem solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
  • Prior internship in investment management preferred but not required.
  • Experience gathering and interpreting market data.
