About the role
Invesco offers a 9-week Fundamental Equities Summer Internship in New York starting June 2027. Interns gain hands-on investment experience, mentorship, and networking, with potential for a full-time offer post-graduation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
- Attend meetings, complete projects, and present findings to management.
- Prepare presentations and summaries for stakeholders.
- Seek feedback from mentors to support learning and growth.
- Conduct company valuations using comparable company and DCF analysis.
- Research industry trends, financial statements, and market data.
Program Experience
- Participate in orientation, networking events, and development workshops.
- Engage in volunteer activities and team meetings.
- Learn about top-down macro investment processes and performance metrics.
- Work alongside portfolio managers, risk, and research teams.
- Receive one-on-one mentorship throughout the internship.
- Join an intern community for collaboration and support.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled bachelor’s student, rising Junior, graduating by summer 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- All majors welcome; emphasis on finance, accounting, math, economics, CS, engineering, or business.
- Interest in financial markets and investments.
- Familiarity with Excel and financial statement analysis.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in creative problem solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- Prior internship in investment management preferred but not required.
- Experience gathering and interpreting market data.
Compensation and Work Model
- Paid $40 per hour for full-time, fixed-term internship.
- Work onsite in Invesco’s New York office at least four days per week.
- Relocation and housing not provided.
