About the role
Nine-week summer internship in Invesco’s ETF Product Development team, supporting product strategy, market research, competitive analysis, reporting, and U.S. ETF launches. Interns gain cross-functional exposure, collaborate with index providers and sales teams, participate in development activities, and may become eligible for a full-time Early Career Program offer after graduation.
Responsibilities
- Research markets and products to create and update ETF product outlook materials.
- Analyze the competitive ETF landscape and identify relevant product and market trends.
- Provide analytical insights to Product Strategists responding to internal sales inquiries.
- Run internal reports, identify trends, and summarize findings for senior leaders.
- Coordinate data analysis with index providers to support product ideas and innovation.
- Support ad hoc projects, including U.S. ETF product launches and updates.
Program Experience
- Participate in orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities.
- Work alongside experienced professionals and collaborate with multiple businesses across a global investment firm.
- Receive a mentor and join an intern community for collaboration and professional development.
- Successful interns may become eligible for a full-time Early Career Program offer after graduation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program as a junior graduating by summer 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced functions, and PowerPoint.
- Interest in financial markets, asset management, and exchange-traded funds.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work collaboratively, remain proactive and self-motivated, and work at an available Invesco office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with programming languages such as R, Python, or VBA.
- Experience with data visualization tools, including Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of artificial intelligence applications such as chatbots and predictive analytics.
Workplace
- The position is based in New York, New York.
- Invesco’s workplace policy requires at least four full days each week working in an Invesco office, as of October 1, 2025.
