About the role
Join Invesco’s nine-week Atlanta summer internship in Accounting, supporting Global Business Services and the Global Controller team across North America and EMEA. You’ll gain experience in accounting, SEC reporting, audits, reconciliations, compliance, process improvement, and AI-enabled automation while participating in training, mentoring, networking, and development activities.
Responsibilities
- Support accounting for North American and EMEA expenses, including journal entries and account analysis.
- Assist Accounts Receivable processes by tracking payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies.
- Contribute to SEC filings, disclosure committee materials, SOX controls, and financial reporting compliance.
- Reconcile daily share transactions, prepare wire transfers, and support expense reimbursement reporting.
- Assist audits, accrual reviews, quarter-end close activities, metrics reporting, and ad hoc management requests.
- Identify process improvements and support evaluation, testing, and validation of AI and automation tools.
Program Experience
- Work within Global Business Services and the Global Controller team on meaningful accounting initiatives.
- Participate in orientation, development workshops, networking events, volunteer activities, and virtual lunch-and-learns.
- Gain exposure to peer analysis, financial statement analysis, accounting policy, expense management, and process improvement.
- Connect with finance leaders, collaborate cross-functionally, and receive dedicated mentorship throughout the internship.
- Strong performance may lead to a full-time Early Career Program offer after graduation.
Workplace and Benefits
