IMC Launchpad is a 2-day program in Chicago for second-year students to explore high-frequency trading and software engineering through hands-on sessions and networking.

- 2-day program held in Chicago from May 13-15, 2026.
- Focus on high-frequency trading and software engineering fundamentals.
- Travel and accommodations provided for non-local participants.

Responsibilities & Activities
- Learn basics of research, trading, and engineering through interactive sessions.
- Engage in IMC’s in-house trading simulation for practical experience.
- Collaborate and network with participants and IMC professionals.
- Develop skills for software engineering internship applications.

Requirements
- Must be in penultimate undergraduate year, graduating Fall 2027-Spring 2028.
- Academic background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures required.
- Experience in programming languages, preferably Java or C++.
- Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.

- Must be available to attend full program in Chicago.
- Willingness to work closely with non-engineers in dynamic environment.
- Eligibility to work in the United States required.
