IMC Launchpad is a 2-day program in Chicago for second-year students to explore high-frequency trading and software engineering through hands-on sessions and networking.

Responsibilities & Activities

  • Learn basics of research, trading, and engineering through interactive sessions.
  • Engage in IMC’s in-house trading simulation for practical experience.
  • Collaborate and network with participants and IMC professionals.
  • Develop skills for software engineering internship applications.

Requirements

  • Must be in penultimate undergraduate year, graduating Fall 2027-Spring 2028.
  • Academic background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures required.
  • Experience in programming languages, preferably Java or C++.
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.

  • Must be available to attend full program in Chicago.
  • Willingness to work closely with non-engineers in dynamic environment.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States required.
