About the role

Summer Financial Analyst opportunity within Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group in London. The role supports creditor- and debtor-side restructurings, distressed M&A, financings, negotiations, and special situations, providing exposure to financial advisory and investment banking products while working alongside senior deal professionals and clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creditor- and debtor-side out-of-court and in-court restructuring transactions.
• Support debt and equity financing assignments.
• Provide analysis for distressed M&A advisory engagements.
• Assist with special situations involving elements of distressed investing.
• Participate in complex negotiations on behalf of clients.

Team Environment

• Work on deal teams typically comprising a Managing Director, Vice President, Associate, and Financial Analyst.
• Take on substantial responsibility and interact with senior-level professionals and clients in a fast-paced environment.
