About the role

Summer Financial Analyst internship in Houlihan Lokey’s London Corporate Finance team, supporting sector-focused mergers and acquisitions and capital-raising engagements. The role offers research, financial analysis, valuation, transaction exposure, substantial responsibility, senior-professional interaction, and live engagement experience. Interns are allocated to an M&A team according to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Support sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions and capital-raising assignments as a dedicated transaction-team member.
• Research and analyse financial statements, economic conditions, industry developments, acquisitions, divestitures, and investment attributes.
• Develop knowledge of capital raisings and financing structures.
• Work with professionals on corporate finance engagements and live transactions.

Requirements

• Be in your penultimate university year, completing final assessments in spring or summer 2028.
• Have some knowledge or understanding of the financial services industry.

• Demonstrate strong financial, computer, quantitative, and analytical skills.
• Maintain accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Show dedication, teamwork, a strong work ethic, and willingness to achieve high performance standards.
