Q2 2027 Off-Cycle Internship - Corporate Finance (IT Services)

About the role

Q2 2027 Houlihan Lokey Frankfurt Corporate Finance IT Services team for a three-month off-cycle internship. You will support pitch and client materials, market and company analysis, financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and live transactions, gaining exposure comparable to a first-year Analyst in M&A advisory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pitch and other client materials.
• Conduct market, industry, and company analyses.
• Build financial models and perform valuation analyses while developing IT Services sector expertise.
• Support due diligence across buy-side and sell-side processes.
• Contribute to project teams working on live transactions.

Requirements

• Currently in the penultimate or final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme.
• Outstanding academic record, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field; solid valuation knowledge.
• Prior internship experience in M&A advisory or a closely related area.
• Fluent German and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical capabilities; accurate performance under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; available for three full months.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional language skills are a plus.
