About the role

Investment Banking Financial Analyst for Houlihan Lokey’s Los Angeles Consumer group, supporting M&A, capital raising, fairness opinions, and strategic advisory engagements. Responsibilities include financial analysis, company valuation, transaction materials, and limited marketing support. The role is intended for the Class of 2027.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and explain financial information for companies and relevant industry peers.
• Perform company valuations using traditional valuation methodologies.
• Prepare confidential offering memorandums, management presentations, buyers lists, marketing pitches, and other presentations.
• Assist with engagement marketing and planning on a limited basis.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate coursework in accounting and finance is required.
• Prior investment banking internship experience is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, work ethic, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
• Use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint effectively.
• Communicate clearly and work cooperatively with staff at all levels.

Compensation

• The estimated salary range is $110,000.00–$110,000.00.
• Actual salary may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and position location.
• Discretionary incentive compensation may be included in the total compensation package.
