About the role

Join Houlihan Lokey's Chicago Consumer Group as an Investment Banking Financial Analyst. Support M&A, capital raising, fairness opinions, and strategic advisory engagements with financial analysis and valuation.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial information of companies in the consumer industry.
• Perform company valuations using traditional methodologies.
• Prepare offering memorandums, management presentations, and marketing pitches.
• Assist in marketing and planning of engagements on a limited basis.

Basic Qualifications

• Prior investment banking internship experience required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity and new ideas encouraged alongside teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Undergraduate coursework in accounting and finance required.
• Strong analytical and financial skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Fundamental understanding of valuation theory and methodologies.
• Ability to work cooperatively with all staff levels.

Compensation and Benefits
