About the role

Join Houlihan Lokey's Financial Restructuring Group as a Financial Analyst for the Class of 2027 in New York. Work on restructuring transactions, distressed M&A, and financial advisory projects with global exposure.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients in out-of-court and Chapter 11 restructurings.
• Assist with debt and equity financings.
• Support distressed M&A advisory services.
• Engage in special-situation principal investing.
• Participate in complex negotiations on clients' behalf.
• Work within deal teams including senior bankers.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Applied Economics required.
• Coursework in accounting and finance mandatory.
• Graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong financial and computer skills recommended.
• Fundamental understanding of valuation theory and methodologies.
• Ability to work cooperatively with all staff levels.
• Strong analytical and communication skills required.
