Join Houlihan Lokey's Capital Solutions team as a Financial Analyst for the Class of 2027 in Los Angeles. Gain hands-on experience in private capital markets, financial modeling, and transaction processes across various financing types.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support Private Capital Markets transactions similar to M&A deal stages.
• Create marketing materials including CIM and three-statement financial models.
• Lead counterparty diligence and coordinate management meetings.
• Structure and negotiate financing to close deals.
• Work on acquisition financing, dividend recapitalizations, refinancings, growth capital, and distressed situations.
• Develop technical skills in cash flow and three-statement modeling.

Team and Environment

• Work alongside a global team of ~200 Capital Solutions professionals.
• Engage with senior-level relationships across capital markets.
• Gain exposure to private credit and private equity capital markets.
• Contribute to innovative, value-enhancing financing solutions.
• Operate in a dynamic, transaction-driven environment.
• Collaborate on live deals across various transaction types.

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's or master's degree, graduating between Dec 2026 and Jun 2027.
• Basic knowledge and strong interest in corporate finance.
• Strong qualitative analysis and ability to manage workstreams independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of valuation theory and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with all staff levels.

Compensation and Benefits
