2028 Summer Financial Analyst - Power, Utilities & Renewables (Class of 2029) - Dallas

About the role

The Summer Financial Analyst will join Houlihan Lokey’s Power, Utilities & Renewables Group in Dallas. The role provides exposure to sell-side and buy-side M&A, capital markets transactions, and creditor- and debtor-side restructurings, with substantial responsibility in an entrepreneurial investment banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions mandates.
• Support capital markets transactions across the Power, Utilities & Renewables sector.
• Contribute to creditor-side and debtor-side financial restructurings.
• Gain exposure to multiple financial advisory and investment banking products.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree.
• Expected graduation between December 2028 and June 2029.
• Coursework in accounting and finance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
• Strong analytical abilities and computer skills, including Excel.
• Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff.

Compensation

• Posted salary range is $110,000–$110,000.
