About the role

Summer Financial Analysts in Houlihan Lokey’s Chicago Healthcare group support investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, refinancings, and leveraged buyouts. Analysts research financial statements, economic conditions, industries, companies, and securities while collaborating with senior professionals and gaining broad corporate finance exposure.

Responsibilities

• Support mergers and acquisitions, private placements, refinancings, leveraged buyouts, and other corporate finance transactions.
• Research and analyze financial statements, economic conditions, industry developments, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Evaluate investment attributes of publicly traded and privately held companies and securities.
• Work collaboratively with professionals and interact with senior-level staff throughout the summer.
