2028 Investment Banking Summer Financial Analyst (Class of 2029) – Atlanta Business Services

About the role

This Atlanta-based summer analyst internship provides exposure to investment banking transactions for Business Services clients, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity private placements, refinancings, and leveraged buyouts. Analysts research financial statements, economic conditions, acquisitions, divestitures, and investment attributes while working collaboratively with senior professionals.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze financial statements, economic conditions, industry developments, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Evaluate investment attributes of publicly traded and private securities companies.
• Support transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private placements, refinancings, and leveraged buyouts.
• Work collaboratively and interact with senior-level professionals in a high-responsibility environment.

Team and Transaction Exposure

• Join the Corporate Finance division’s Business Services Group in Atlanta.
• Gain exposure to M&A advisory, capital raising, corporate restructuring, and related advisory services.
• Work with clients across professional and technology-related services end markets.
• Collaborate with other industry and product groups on client engagements.
