About the role

Financial Analyst role in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Opinions and Board & Special Committee Advisory group in Atlanta. The position supports complex valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, research, transaction opinions, board presentations, pitches, and client relationships across mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and other corporate governance situations.

About the Team

• Advises boards and special committees on complex businesses, securities, transaction issues, alternatives, and corporate governance matters.
• Provides fairness, solvency, and valuation advisory services across varied transaction and corporate situations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and explain historical and projected financial information and perform business and financial due diligence.
• Conduct industry and sub-sector research and value companies, businesses, and securities.
• Build complex financial models supporting negotiation positions, company cash-flow analysis, and specific security valuations.
• Assist with board and special committee presentations supporting advice and transaction opinions.
• Participate in pitches, business development initiatives, and relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with M&A and industry teams to deliver investment banking services and support engagements.

Compensation

• Estimated salary range at posting: $100,000–$100,000.
