About the role
Join Houlihan Lokey as a 2027 Financial Analyst in Portfolio Valuation and Fund Advisory Services. Work across multiple US locations analyzing financial markets, developing models, and supporting valuation teams for alternative asset funds.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support portfolio valuation teams for hedge funds, private equity, and business development companies.
- Analyze financial statements and perform quantitative and qualitative assessments.
- Review investment memoranda, board presentations, and financial models.
- Compile financial summaries and develop financial ratios.
- Research public company filings, press releases, and analyst reports.
- Construct valuation analyses including discounted cash flow and precedent transactions.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in due diligence meetings and client communications.
- Draft client deliverables and assist in fee proposal preparation.
- Conduct ad-hoc research and support project teams.
- Coordinate engagement invoices and compliance procedures.
- Engage with legal counsel as needed.
- Assist with marketing initiatives for clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Financial Engineering, or related field.
- Graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Strong analytical and financial statement analysis skills.
- Fundamental understanding of valuation theory and methodologies.
- Proficient in Excel modeling and strong communication skills.
