About the role

Join Houlihan Lokey's Primary Capital Advisory team as an intern to support private equity fundraising through strategic advice, marketing documentation, and fundraising process management. Gain experience in a leading global investment bank's capital solutions group.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on alternative asset brand positioning for competitive advantage.
• Produce core fund marketing documents including investor presentations and DDQs.
• Manage fundraising processes, including investor tracking and client communication.
• Complete due diligence materials responding to potential investor inquiries.
• Originate new opportunities by meeting clients and preparing pitch materials.
• Participate in new mandate selection through extensive due diligence.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in private equity fundraising at a placement agent or investor relations team.
• Alternatively, experience in investment banking or transaction services from reputable institutions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity and teamwork encouraged.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master's program focused on finance, accounting, or management.
• High attention to detail and superior analytical skills.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to multitask with an organized approach.
• Good understanding of private equity industry fundamentals and trends.
• Fluency in French and English; additional European language (Spanish or German) preferred.
