2027 Graduate Financial Analyst - Corporate Finance (IT Services)

About the role

Graduate Financial Analyst joining Houlihan Lokey’s Frankfurt IT Services team, supporting sell-side and buy-side M&A engagements within Business Services. The role provides exposure to financial analysis, valuation, industry research, capital raisings, financing structures, and live transactions, with substantial responsibility and interaction with senior professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions for IT Services companies within the Business Services sector.
• Research and analyse financial statements, economic conditions, industry developments, acquisitions, divestitures, and public and private companies.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of capital raisings and financing structures.
• Work as a dedicated transaction team member on corporate finance engagements in Frankfurt.
• Collaborate with senior professionals in a team-based environment on live engagements.

• The IT Services team advises clients across cloud, cybersecurity, software applications, and data-driven transformation.
• The Business Services Group provides M&A advisory and capital-raising services to middle-market and large multinational companies.
• The role offers broad exposure to issues affecting companies and investors across the sector.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or be in the final university year graduating in Summer 2027; start by July 2027.
• Demonstrate fluency in German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bring strong quantitative, analytical, financial, computer, interpersonal, accuracy, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Understand valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
• Be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Show dedication, teamwork, a strong work ethic, and willingness to work hard.
