About the role

Guggenheim Securities offers a 6-month Investment Banking Analyst Internship in London focused on digital infrastructure. Interns support deal teams with financial modeling, valuation, research, and client presentations while gaining exposure to senior bankers and clients.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support deal teams with financial models and valuation analysis.
• Perform discounted cash flow and multiple valuation analyses.
• Conduct company and industry research to understand sector trends.
• Prepare and participate in client presentations and transaction execution.
• Interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountants.
• Develop understanding of investment banking products: debt, equity, M&A, restructuring.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be on track to graduate in Spring/Summer 2027 or 2028 from a top-tier university.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and client service interest.
• Resourceful, intellectually curious, enthusiastic about finance.
• Ability to work under pressure in small teams with senior management.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Interests

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Understanding of financial valuation is a plus.
• Interest in digital infrastructure is a plus.
• Strong extracurricular interests or achievements are a plus.
• Highly organized with multitasking ability and initiative.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.

Program Details

• Internship duration: January to June 2027.
