About the role

Guggenheim Securities offers a 6-month Investment Banking Analyst Internship in Healthcare, London, from September 2026 to February 2027. Interns gain hands-on experience in M&A, financing, and strategic advisory within a dynamic, entrepreneurial team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct company and industry research to understand sector trends and client challenges.
• Prepare and participate in client presentations and transaction execution.
• Support deal teams in building and maintaining financial models.
• Perform financial and valuation analyses including DCF, LBO, and multiples.
• Develop understanding of Investment Banking products: Debt, Equity, M&A, Restructuring.
• Interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountants.

Candidate Requirements

• Recent or upcoming graduate by Summer 2026 from university or business school.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Interest in problem solving and client service.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask with limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Genuine interest in Healthcare sector and finance.
• Understanding of financial valuation is a plus.
