Guggenheim Securities offers a 2026 Investment Banking Analyst Internship in London within the Financial Sponsors Group. Interns support deal teams on M&A, financing, and strategic advisory transactions from June to December 2026.

Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct company and industry research to understand sector trends and client challenges.
- Prepare and participate in client presentations and transaction execution.
- Support deal teams in building and maintaining financial models.
- Perform financial and valuation analyses including DCF, LBO, and multiples.
- Develop understanding of investment banking products: debt, equity, M&A, restructuring.

Candidate Requirements
- Must be a recent graduate or graduating by June 2026.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail required.
- Strong interest in problem solving and client service.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet client deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Genuine interest in finance and intellectual curiosity.
- Understanding of financial valuation is a plus.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to multitask with limited supervision.
- Maturity and ability to work in a small team serving senior management.
- Strong extracurricular interests or achievements are a plus.
