About the role

Guggenheim Securities offers a 6-month Investment Banking Analyst Internship in London within the Financial Sponsors Group. Interns support deal teams on M&A, financing, and strategic advisory transactions, gaining exposure to senior bankers and clients in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct company and industry research to understand sector trends and client challenges.
• Prepare and participate in client presentations and transaction execution.
• Support deal teams in building and maintaining financial models.
• Perform financial and valuation analyses including DCF, LBO, and multiples valuation.
• Develop understanding of investment banking products: debt, equity, M&A, restructuring.
• Interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountants.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interest in problem solving and client service.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Genuine interest in finance, resourcefulness, and intellectual curiosity.
• Understanding of financial valuation is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet client deadlines in small teams.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be a recent graduate or on track to graduate by June 2026.
