Role and Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and analyze M&A and financing opportunities.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models.
• Complete and review valuation analyses.
• Research company information and industry trends.
• Perform client due diligence.
• Prepare transaction documentation and client presentations.

Team and Environment

• Work within the Houston Energy, Power, and Energy Transition team.
• Engage with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountants.
• Experience lean deal teams with competitive deal flow.
• Opportunity to build relationships with junior bankers.
• Exposure to upstream, midstream, downstream, and clean energy sectors.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Ability to work with senior management and executives.
• Highly organized with initiative and minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be on track to receive an MBA or J.D. degree by Spring 2028.

Compensation

• Salary based on an annual rate of $175,000.
• Actual salary may vary by location and experience.
• Total compensation may include incentive components.
