Guggenheim Securities seeks Investment Banking Associates for its Los Angeles Industrials team, focusing on Aerospace & Defense. Associates support M&A advisory and capital raising, working closely with senior bankers and clients on strategic transactions.

Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare client presentations and interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountants.
- Design and develop complex financial models and valuation analyses.
- Draft internal and client-facing documents including pitchbooks and fairness opinions.
- Perform client due diligence and prepare transaction-related documentation.
- Contribute to strategic frameworks and business development tools.

Candidate Requirements
- Must be on track to receive an MBA or J.D. degree by Dec 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Prior internship experience in investment banking, accounting, consulting, private equity, hedge fund, or corporate finance preferred.
- Familiarity with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective process management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Receive formal and hands-on investment banking training.
- Develop skills in M&A process management, financial and data analysis.
- Enhance soft-selling, presentation, and professional communication skills.

Work Location and Schedule
- Role based in Los Angeles office, expected onsite at least 4 days per week.
