About the role
Goldman Sachs Legal’s New Analyst Program is a full-time, two-year opportunity based in Dallas for final-year undergraduate and graduate students. Analysts support the firm’s legal division, develop in-house counsel experience, build professional relationships, and receive training and guidance while evaluating risks and advising business areas.
Responsibilities and Development
- Learn about Goldman Sachs and how the firm conducts business.
- Develop skills and knowledge needed to support the firm’s businesses.
- Gain experience understanding the role of in-house counsel at Goldman Sachs.
- Build a professional network and interact with colleagues across the firm.
- Support legal advice that protects the firm’s financial well-being and reputation.
- Assist business areas in evaluating risks associated with transactions and other activities.
Program Structure
- The New Analyst Program is full-time and designed for final-year undergraduate and graduate students.
- Legal Program Analysts are based exclusively in Dallas for the Americas.
- The Analyst program lasts two years.
- The program may suit students considering law school and pursuing future JD programs.
- Analysts who do not pursue law school gain experience for future opportunities.
