About the role

The Goldman Sachs Summer Associate Program is a nine- to ten-week summer internship for students pursuing advanced degrees, including MBAs, PhDs, JDs, MDs, or LLMs. Participants receive orientation and training, work on real responsibilities, and collaborate with fellow interns and Investment Banking professionals.

Program

• Attend orientation covering Goldman Sachs culture, benefits, and responsibilities as a firm member.
• Receive training designed to support success during the summer internship.
• Work on real responsibilities alongside fellow interns and Goldman Sachs professionals.

Investment Banking Division

• Deliver strategic advice and creative financing solutions to clients.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, financing, and risk management transactions.
• Work on initiatives including cross-border mergers, subsidiary initial public offerings, and bond refinancing.
