About the role

This off-cycle internship places undergraduate students in Goldman Sachs Operations in Doha, with immersion in day-to-day activities, structured training, and real responsibilities alongside interns and employees. Operations supports banking, sales and trading, and asset management by enabling transactions, protecting accuracy, managing settlement, reporting, and monitoring operational risks.

Program

• The Off-Cycle Program is designed for undergraduate students.
• Program length varies according to the program and university.
• Participants are fully immersed in day-to-day activities.
• Interns work on real responsibilities alongside fellow interns and Goldman Sachs employees.

Operations Responsibilities

• Enable business activity across banking, sales and trading, and asset management.
• Ensure stock and payment are ready before trades are executed.
• Ensure trades settle properly and on time.
• Confirm transactions are reported accurately to clients, the firm, and regulators.
• Identify potential financial loss, penalties, or other risks affecting clients or the firm.
• Support technology, information flows, and processes while monitoring and reengineering systems.

Training

• Participants receive training designed to help them succeed.
