About the role
Flow Traders offers a 6-week full-time Trading Internship in Hong Kong for APAC students. Interns gain hands-on experience in trading strategies, quantitative modeling, and market operations, working closely with traders and researchers.
Role and Responsibilities
- Learn from industry leaders on the APAC trading floor.
- Participate in educational courses and trading simulations.
- Design trading strategies using quantitative modeling and applications.
- Work on real trading problems with traders and quantitative researchers.
- Gain insight into Flow Traders' core business.
- Engage in intern activities and team culture.
Internship Details
- Duration: 6 weeks, June-July 2027 or December 2027-January 2028.
- Full-time paid internship based in Hong Kong.
- Open to students based in the APAC region only.
- Flight and accommodation provided for overseas applicants.
- Similar programs available in Amsterdam and New York for other regions.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduating between August 2027 and December 2028 with relevant degrees.
- Degree fields: Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related.
- Experience with scientific programming languages like Python, MATLAB, or R.
- Competitive, innovative, and creative personality with strong mental arithmetic.
- Ability to reason logically, work under pressure, and seize opportunities.
