About the role
Evercore’s New York Real Estate Strategic Advisory Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship for undergraduates graduating December 2028 through June 2029. Analysts support investment banking assignments for real estate companies, sponsors, and investors, gaining experience in M&A, financing, restructuring, modeling, industry analysis, due diligence, and client preparation.
Role and Team
- Join Evercore’s Real Estate Strategic Advisory group in New York as a Summer Analyst.
- Support advisory and capital-raising assignments for real estate companies, sponsors, and institutional investors.
- Work in a boutique environment while contributing to multiple projects concurrently.
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials for client meetings and support business development activities.
- Build financial models and conduct industry analysis and due diligence.
- Work on M&A, continuation vehicles, recapitalizations, restructurings, divestitures, joint ventures, and capital raises.
- Evaluate strategic alternatives, mergers and acquisitions, and complex financing execution assignments.
Program Details
- Participate in a 10-week intensive summer analyst program.
- Learn on the job through exposure to varied investment banking mandates and assignments.
Requirements
- Pursue an undergraduate degree with graduation expected between December 2028 and June 2029.
- Demonstrate superior analytical skills and excellence in academic coursework.
- Have outstanding written and oral communication skills and a strong academic record.
- Show specific interest in real estate and the ability to think critically about strategic issues.
- Be enthusiastic, outgoing, achievement-oriented, flexible, and committed to working hard.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage several projects concurrently.
