2028 Strategic Advisory: Mergers & Acquisitions Summer Analyst Program – Richmond Transportation

About the role

Evercore’s 2028 Richmond Transportation and Logistics Summer Analyst Program offers undergraduates a ten-week experience in strategic advisory and mergers and acquisitions. Analysts support transaction assignments across financial analysis, due diligence, and business development, while receiving internal training and working closely with small teams, clients, and firm partners.

Responsibilities

• Support mergers and acquisitions advisory, restructurings, recapitalizations, divestitures, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Prepare for and attend client meetings.
• Build financial models and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Conduct industry analysis and due diligence.
• Contribute to new business development.
• Work on multiple projects in small teams with client and partner contact.

Program and Training

• Complete a ten-week Summer Analyst Program in Richmond Transportation and Logistics.
• Receive robust internal training designed to prepare analysts to contribute quickly.
• Work in a boutique environment with exposure to strategic advisory and mergers and acquisitions.
• Highly qualified analysts may advance rapidly and assume additional responsibility.

Requirements

• Pursue an undergraduate degree with an expected graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
• Maintain a strong academic record and demonstrate diverse interests.
• Think critically about strategic issues affecting clients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of investment banking and global markets.
• Bring quantitative, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Show enthusiasm, maturity, flexibility, achievement orientation, and a strong work ethic.
