2028 Strategic Advisory: Mergers & Acquisitions Summer Analyst Program – New York Generalist

About the role

Evercore’s 10-week 2028 New York Generalist Summer Analyst Program offers undergraduates exposure to strategic advisory and mergers and acquisitions in a boutique environment. Analysts support varied transactions, work in small teams, receive internal training, and interact with clients and firm partners while developing financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support mergers and acquisitions advisory, restructurings, recapitalizations, divestitures, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Prepare for and attend client meetings.
• Build financial models and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Conduct industry analysis and due diligence.
• Contribute to new business development.
• Work concurrently on several projects in small teams with client and partner contact.

Program Experience

• Complete a 10-week program providing representative strategic advisory and mergers and acquisitions experience.
• Receive robust internal training designed to prepare Summer Analysts to contribute quickly.
• Gain exposure to blue-chip clients and opportunities for increased responsibility.

• Applications are accepted during the window and are not reviewed on a rolling basis.
• Students may submit a maximum of two applications.
• Withdrawn applications still count toward the two-application limit and cannot be replaced.
