About the role

Evercore’s 10-week Private Capital Advisory Summer Analyst Program in New York offers undergraduate students exposure to secondary-market advisory transactions. Analysts may focus on GP Private Equity, GP Private Credit, LP, or Structured Capital Solutions, supporting strategic advice, portfolio sales, and private-market capital and liquidity solutions while learning on the job.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Support strategic advisory services for private equity sponsors, credit managers, and institutional investors.
  • Advise limited partners on portfolio sales and private-asset liquidity solutions.
  • Support structured capital solutions using asset-backed security technologies for private markets.
  • Gain exposure to buyout, venture, credit, real estate, energy, and infrastructure assets.

PCA Verticals

  • GP Private Equity supports sponsors on portfolio and fund management objectives.
  • GP Private Credit provides strategic advisory services to credit managers.
  • LP advises endowments, foundations, pensions, family offices, and asset managers on liquidity solutions.
  • Structured Capital Solutions creates capital and liquidity solutions for private-market issuers and investors.

Program Details

  • The summer analyst program lasts 10 weeks and provides representative PCA analyst experience.
  • Analysts receive on-the-job learning in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Highly qualified summer analysts may receive early responsibility and exposure to blue-chip clients.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree with graduation between December 2028 and June 2029.
  • Finance, Accounting, or Economics major preferred.
  • Interested in pursuing a career in the secondaries industry.
  • Strong analytical, written communication, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative, loyal team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Approaches challenges with optimism, humility, and a focus on learning and growth.
