2028 Liability Management & Restructuring Summer Analyst Program – New York

About the role

Evercore’s 10-week Summer Analyst Program offers undergraduates hands-on experience in liability management and restructuring within a boutique investment banking environment. Analysts support restructurings, recapitalizations, liability management transactions, distressed M&A, and private credit raises, while developing modeling, valuation, accounting, credit analysis, industry research, and due diligence skills.

Responsibilities

• Support in-court and out-of-court restructurings and recapitalizations.
• Work on exchanges, tenders, and other liability management transactions.
• Contribute to distressed M&A transactions and private credit capital raises.
• Prepare for and attend client meetings.
• Perform financial modeling, accounting issue resolution, financial statement, and credit document analysis.
• Conduct valuation analysis, industry analysis, and due diligence.

Team Environment

• Work within small deal teams covering companies in financial transition and their interest holders.
• Gain exposure to clients and Evercore partners through project assignments.
• Learn on the job while potentially taking on responsibility rapidly.
