About the role

Summer Associate opportunity in Evercore’s Menlo Park Healthcare Group, covering public and private Biopharma and MedTech companies. Associates work closely with senior bankers on assignments involving M&A, strategic partnerships, capital raising, alternative financing, and strategic alternatives, while supporting financial analysis, transaction execution, and client development.

Role and Team

• Work within Evercore’s Menlo Park Healthcare Group in Menlo Park, California.
• Cover public and private companies across Biopharma and MedTech.
• Gain experience across diverse strategic advisory and transaction assignments.
• Work closely with senior bankers in small transaction teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial and valuation analysis for client assignments.
• Resolve complex financial and accounting issues.
• Conduct industry, competitive, and due diligence analysis.
• Draft client presentation materials and support live deal execution.
• Assist with new business development activities.

Requirements

• Be a current first-year MBA student from a top business school.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in investment banking.
• Have strong quantitative, analytical, corporate finance, valuation, and accounting skills.
• Communicate ideas effectively in written and oral formats.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, work ethic, and achievement orientation.
