About the role

Evercore’s Chicago Industrials Group seeks Summer Associates for 2027. Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and valuation analysis, including resolving complex financial and accounting issues.
• Perform industry, competitive, and due diligence analysis for client engagements.
• Draft client presentation materials and assist with new business development.
• Support management and execution of live deal situations.
• Work closely with senior bankers on major industrials transactions across global markets.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a first-year MBA student at a top business school.
• Strong interest in investment banking, with a focus on energy.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting.
• Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas.
