About the role

Evercore’s two-year Investment Banking Analyst Program in Richmond supports the Transportation and Logistics team on strategic advisory and M&A assignments. Analysts work in small teams on client projects spanning acquisitions, restructurings, recapitalizations, divestitures, partnerships, and joint ventures, with exposure to senior contacts and partners.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition advisory, restructurings, recapitalizations, divestitures, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Prepare for and attend client meetings with senior client contacts and firm partners.
• Build financial models and resolve complex accounting issues for client assignments.
• Conduct industry analysis and due diligence across multiple concurrent projects.
• Contribute to new client development activities.
• Work within small teams on a broad range of strategic advisory and M&A projects.
