Madrid Off-Cycle Internship (Jan - June 2027)

About the role

Join Evercore’s Madrid Investment Banking team for a six-month off-cycle internship beginning January 2027, with possible extension. Support Iberian-region advisory work across private and public M&A, capital raising, capital structure and client pitches, while analysing financial information, preparing presentations, researching companies and developing analytical, communication and marketing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support private and public M&A, capital raising, capital structure mandates and client pitches.
• Analyse company accounts, profit and loss statements, and cash flow information.
• Interpret complex financial information and prepare detailed financial presentations.
• Research companies and maintain current, accurate financial data.
• Manage selected aspects of transaction processes and prepare marketing materials independently.
• Liaise with Evercore’s industry and product teams across the firm.

Team and Programme

• Join the Madrid team covering the Iberian region with a generalist industry and product focus.
• Work in coordination with sector and product teams globally in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Handle multiple projects while developing investment banking knowledge and professional skills.
• Gain representative analyst experience through a structured six-month off-cycle programme.
