About the role
Graduate software engineering role with DV Commodities in London, building proprietary trading tools for commodity-market desks. You will collaborate with developers, technology leaders, traders, and researchers, design new solutions, extend existing systems, and own code through deployment and production support. The role is full-time and onsite five days weekly.
Role context
- DV Commodities trades crude oil, refined products, natural gas, power, emissions, metals, softs, and agriculture.
- The division operates more than 35 desks across London, New York, Chicago, Houston, and Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve proprietary trading tools supporting trading desks across the business.
- Collaborate with developers, technology leaders, traders, and researchers to define technical application requirements.
- Work iteratively with technology and business stakeholders to deliver platform functionality.
- Architect greenfield solutions and safely extend or improve established codebases.
- Use AI to accelerate development while owning design, verification, deployment, and production support.
