About the role

Join DV Commodities as a Trading Intern in London for Summer 2027. Gain hands-on experience across multiple trading desks, develop trading models, and work closely with senior traders in a dynamic commodities trading environment.

Role Overview

• Work closely with trading teams to learn various trading strategies including Market Making and Fundamental Discretionary approaches.
• Rotate on at least two trading desks to explore different trading styles and find the best fit.
• Build and maintain applications to support trading activities, including analytics dashboards and back-testing new ideas.
• Receive mentorship from senior and junior traders with exposure to senior leadership.
• Collaborate across desks fostering a cooperative trading culture.
• Strong interns may be considered for full-time roles after graduation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Graduating by Summer 2027 or Summer 2028.
• Strong interest in trading and model development.
• High proficiency in Python and Excel.
• Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability, onsite presence in London required.
