Client Platforms Engineer Intern - Summer 2027

About the role

This Chicago-based Summer 2027 internship supports end-users as part of DV Trading’s IT operations team. The intern will provide first-line technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware and application issues, maintain support records, manage IT assets, and develop communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests received by phone, email, or in person.
• Log and prioritize user requests and provide friendly, professional end-user support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, desk setups, operating systems, software, and application issues.
• Resolve basic technical problems or escalate complex issues to senior staff.
• Maintain records of IT support activities and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking.
