Join DRW as a Software Developer Intern in London to build advanced trading and risk applications using cutting-edge technology over a ten-week program.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software solutions across the firm.
• Create decoders to translate raw exchange data into accessible formats.
• Build normalisers to construct order books for traded instruments.
• Develop applications to facilitate trade communication with compliance teams.
• Identify and advocate innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Collaborate with developers, traders, researchers, and analysts in cross-functional teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in CS, engineering, physics, math, or related fields.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Exposure to network programming, multi-threaded apps, algorithms, or GUI programming.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficient in C++, Python, Java, C#, or C with eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Internship Experience

• Work on a challenging project advised by a software engineer.
• Participate in educational, social, and team-building activities.
• Stay in fully furnished apartments near the office provided by DRW.
• Receive mentorship from experienced professionals with regular meetings.
• Complete an options course to understand technology’s impact on trading.
