Software Developer Intern (Python)

About the role

This Singapore internship places you on software projects supporting automated trading strategies across asset classes. You will work with quantitative researchers to develop production systems, optimize data processing, manage trading risk and execution, and explore advanced technology through meaningful projects, mentorship and educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy software for complex algorithmic trading systems.
• Optimize large-scale data processing and modelling.
• Translate research-based trading strategies into production software with quantitative researchers.
• Build software supporting trading-system risk management and execution.
• Automate human-decision-based strategies and implement algorithmic trades from trading ideas.
• Manage technology requirements and evaluate technologies improving the current software stack.

Internship Experience

• Complete a challenging project advised by a software engineer, providing meaningful practical experience.
• Participate in educational, social and team-building activities throughout the summer.
• Build a professional relationship with an experienced mentor through development discussions and mentor outings.
