Deutsche Bank Internship Programme – Investment Bank: Fixed Income and Currencies - London - 2027

About the role

A nine-week rotational internship in Deutsche Bank’s Fixed Income and Currencies division in London. You will receive industry training, rotate across Fixed Income desks, work on real client-focused projects, learn about market trends and products, and develop skills for a potential full-time career beginning in July 2028.

Role and Responsibilities

• Rotate across Fixed Income desks after completing upfront training with industry experts.
• Experience roles and products across Credit, Emerging Markets, Foreign Exchange and Rates.
• Learn how teams respond to market trends and deliver tailored client solutions.
• Work on real projects supporting clients’ risk management, funding and liquidity needs.
• Learn from senior leaders while building professional and cross-business networks.

Training and Programme Structure

• The programme lasts nine weeks, including upfront training and eight weeks rotating with desks.
• Receive formal training, continuous support and practical exposure to Fixed Income products.
• Develop communication, analytical, problem-solving and market-related skills for a future career.

Requirements and Eligibility

• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a keen interest in global financial markets.
• Show a driven, ambitious mindset with strong critical-thinking and analytical abilities.
• Possess strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Complete all studies and graduation requirements between 1 August 2027 and 31 July 2028.
• Be available to start full-time work in July 2028, subject to legislation and visa requirements.
• Return to full-time study after the internship to remain eligible for the 2028 Graduate Programme.

Academic and Experience Criteria

• Achieve at least three A-Levels at AAA, including grade A in A-Level Maths, or equivalent UCAS points.
• Be on track for a 2:1 or First, or equivalent, in an undergraduate degree.
• Have no more than 12 months of full-time, relevant work experience.
• Upload a CV and evidence of A-Level or equivalent qualifications with the application.
