About the role

Berlin-based internship in Deutsche Bank’s Technology, Data & Innovation division, lasting two to six months by individual agreement. Interns contribute to agile technology projects, develop digital skills, and explore backend, frontend, full-stack, DevOps, quality assurance, product design, or business analysis with training, mentoring, and support.

Role and responsibilities

  • Work alongside technology teams on agile projects and strategic systems supporting Deutsche Bank’s businesses.
  • Design and develop innovative products and technical solutions using modern software and hardware.
  • Develop digital skills, learn programming languages, and identify areas where technology can create impact.
  • Assignments and tasks vary according to the team joined and internship duration.
  • Potential areas include backend, frontend, full-stack, DevOps, quality assurance, automation, UX/UI, and business analysis.

Requirements

  • Study computer science, mathematics, industrial engineering, UX design, finance and management, or a comparable IT-focused discipline.
  • Show interest in innovative technologies and the financial industry.
  • Have practical experience, particularly in programming or another relevant area.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and a passion for logical, innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Have well-developed communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Be a responsible, committed team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly.
