About the role
The Deutsche Bank Chief Risk Office Graduate Program is a year-long opportunity in New York, offering rotations across risk functions, practical project experience, technical training and mentoring. Graduates will analyze risks, support risk management decisions and develop skills for a career in financial services.
Role and Responsibilities
- Rotate across different Chief Risk Office functions during the twelve-month program.
- Prepare analysis supporting risk management decisions and monitor market developments.
- Identify risks and their drivers, and support potential risk exposure calculations.
- Support risk appetite setting and develop solutions mitigating financial and non-financial risks.
- Communicate risk-related findings and recommendations to senior management.
Training and Development
- Receive professional and technical training throughout the year-long graduate program.
- Combine on-the-job learning with formal training and practical special projects.
- Benefit from one-to-one mentoring and support from peers and mentors.
- Build a broad understanding of the Chief Risk Office before specializing later.
Eligibility and Application Timeline
- Complete all studies and graduation requirements between January 1, 2026 and July 31, 2027.
- Be available to start full-time work in July 2027, subject to legislation and visa requirements.
- Have no more than twelve months of relevant full-time work experience.
