About the role
This 3–6-month internship in Government & Public Affairs is based in Frankfurt or Berlin. You will monitor political and regulatory developments, support stakeholder briefings and policy papers, analyse complex topics, and gain experience working with international teams across Europe, the United States, and Asia.
Role and responsibilities
- Support briefings and prepare materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to position papers and responses to regulatory consultations.
- Monitor political and regulatory developments relevant to the banking sector.
- Structure information and explain complex topics clearly.
- Collaborate with experienced colleagues on international projects and team activities.

Requirements
- Be enrolled from at least the fourth semester in business, economics, law, political science, or a comparable subject.
- Show strong interest in politics, legislation, and the financial sector.
- Demonstrate analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex content clearly.
- Bring intellectual curiosity and an openness to controversial topics and perspectives.
- Have fluent German and English skills.
- Be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and work proactively and structurally.
